About the Book
Leonard’s new book is a companion to The National Geographic Channel’s popular television series, “Mars,” a fictionalized story about humans colonizing Mars. The book focuses on the real science that would be required for this imaginary space mission to work. It’s a great read for fans of the TV show, as well as science and space enthusiasts.
About the Author
Leonard David is a space journalist who has reported on space activities for over 50 years. He lives in Golden, Colorado with his wife Barbara. Leonard has been a consultant to NASA, and has served as Director of Research for the National Commission on Space, a U.S. Congress/White House study that appraised the next 50 to 100 years of space exploration.
