The Longmont Farmers Market is returning in full swing this year, starting on April 2nd. The market will run every Saturday between 8 am and 1 pm, featuring local produce, artisanal wares, and live music. You can find the weekly event at the Boulder County Fairgrounds near Hover Street and Boston Avenue. In contrast to the past couple of years, the market will be returning to more relaxed social distancing guidelines by increasing food court seating, reintroducing community group tables, and allowing vendor samples. If you are looking for a more distanced experience, the venue recommends heading outside the market when searching for a good spot to sit. The 2022 farmer’s market season will run until November 19th.
Local Vendors
The Boulder County area is a fantastic place to be if you are looking for quality produce, organic and sustainable goods, and handmade treats from farmers and small businesses of the Denver Front Range. Past vendors have included produce from Hoffman Farms in Greely, skincare from Colorado Aromatics in Longmont, and Swedish-inspired bread mixes from Havenly Baked in Boulder. Whether you are shopping for ingredients to add to your next meal or are looking for something freshly baked and ready to eat, the Longmont Farmer’s Market has plenty to offer for everyone.
Monthly Artisan Market
Every fourth Saturday, the Longmont Farmer’s Market will host additional vendors for guests to peruse. If farm-fresh fruits and vegetables aren’t your thing, you can enjoy original artwork and creative wares once a month during the artisan market. Local artists and makers will be open for business during normal Longmont Farmer’s Market hours on the following dates:
- April 23rd
- May 28th
- June 25th
- July 23rd
- August 27th
- September 24th
- October 22nd
