Longmont’s annual Artwalk on Main is in full swing. This summer festival series invites Longmont residents to enjoy its bustling downtown and support local artists of all kinds. Musicians, painters, and artisans showcase their creations every Saturday throughout the summer.
Summer on the Streets and the Longmont Art Walk kicked off in July this year and runs through September. Each Saturday, from 4 - 8pm, the sidewalks along 4th and Kimbark come alive. Spend the morning in the mountains before capping off your Saturday evening with a lively community event downtown.
Each Saturday offers a brand new experience so you’ll never have the same ArtWalk twice. Shop the wonderful markets boasting original paintings, cool sculptures, handmade pottery, and so much more. The market offers a great option for shopping locally, acquiring unique gifts, and decorating your home.
Listen to live music at the ArtWalk and get the scoop on new local acts. Each Saturday, two performers will take the Summer on the Streets stage and play everything from blues to country to acoustic. Check out the full schedule, here. And be sure to stop by the Firehouse booth with little ones of all ages.
Take advantage of summer in the city with friends and family. Come hungry and enjoy food trucks, or bring a lawn chair and pack a picnic. Chat with local nonprofit booths, watch the SVVSD band perform, or take in a host of other special events happening throughout the coming months. Saturday night just got a whole lot more fun!
